Its name is Ballyhealy. It is situated in the Parish and Barony of Delvin. There are about twenty seven families in the townland, and about ninety people. Reilly is the most common name in the townland.
The houses are nearly all slated, but a few are thatched. There are some old people over seventy living in the townland. They are:- John Moore, Mrs Henry, and Michael Donlon. They cannot tell stories in Irish, but they can tell them in English. They all live in Ballyhealy.
Houses were not more numerous locally in former times. There are none in ruins now. Some people emigrated to America. in former years. The townland is not mentioned in any song or saying.

The land is not rocky or boggy, but it is good. There is one wood in it called "Fagan's Wood", as it is growing on Fagan's land. There is one lake called Ballyhealy Lake, but there are no stories connected with it.
