Long ago the people had half sovereigns, sovereigns, five shillings piece, four shilling piece, four penny bits, and the farthing. But now most of these are rarely seen. A little boy named Arthur Hodgins had a four shilling piece to day. it was made in the year 1889 and there was a cross on one side and on the other side Queen Victoria. If he keeps it, it will probably be worth a lot of money in years to come. There are other names too for the coins,a shilling is a 'bob' a sixpence is a ;tanner' and a pound id a 'quid'.
