    Among the many famous old places of interest there is one around here known as Collierstown.

    who lived in Collierstown. When he was down some distance in the pit he found a stone coffin. But he covered it up again and had to dig another pit.
    Up to some years ago people called Bannons lived in Collierstown. There was an auction and the place now belongs to Mr. Nally of Emper. Owing to its inconvenience no one lives in it. It is situated about one mile from the road in through the fields.
