- (ar lean ón leathanach roimhe)About ten people sit around in a ring. Each person takes a name such as, "Rap Slap at the Barn Door" "Old Dog Drain" "My Man Jack" "Little Wooly Jep", "Old Bog Road" etc. A man then sits in the middle and he begins this rhyme.
The priest of the parish lost his considering cap. Some say this, and some say that but I say my man Jack, pointing to one in the ring.
The person addressed jumps up and the following dialogue takes place.
Me: Me: Sir Yes, you Sir. You are a liar Sir. Who then Sir?
'My man Jack' then points to another person in the ring who must be able to say his assumed name, say - Rap Slap at the Barn Door three times.
If he fails to say his name he gets a blow of a stick or strap but if he succeeds the man who pointed him out "My Man Jack" gets the blow.
The game goes on for quite a time until all the names are read out.(leanann ar an chéad leathanach eile)- Bailitheoir
