Everybody calls Shrove Tuesday pancake night in our district. Everybody makes pancakes on Shrove Tuesday. Shrove Tuesday is the last day for getting married. On St Patrick's day all the people honour St Patrick by wearing the Shamrock which he picked from the Hill of Tara.
Everybody gets ashes on their forehead on Ash Wednesday to remind us that our soul are better than our bodies and that our body is only made out of dust. No one should go out swimming during whit - week as it is very dangerous.(leanann ar an chéad leathanach eile)
