There were some evictions in the district and the evicted people went to England.
James Bond was a noted fighter and he was brought over to Ireland, he gave a couple of acres of land to a couple of other people and he built houses on this land which he got when he came over here and these people who lived in his houses herded his cattle
He did not punish the tenants in any way
Tithes were collected in money in the district
