    Festival Customs.
    The feasts that occur every year are, St. Stephen's day, St. Patrick's day, Shrove Tuesday, Ash Wednesday, Holy Thursday, Easter Sunday, Mayday, Hallow Eve, Little Christmas.
    The feast of St. Stephen falls on the 26th of December each year. All the young men and girls of this district gather to-gether and go around with the wren. The men dress up in straw and rags and go around. The girls dress up in rags, and an old hat on their head, they also put a false face, on their face. Then they get a french fiddle or a fiddle and they go around through the district to each house and they dance and sing.
