    was the bundle of straw that the man gave the Friars for God's sake. The Friars was wakened before morning with the woman crying that the man was dead. She was afraid he wouldn't go to heaven, because he was so mean, but the Friar told her about the dream he had and he said the man was surely gone to Heaven.

  2. One day a man cut trees in a fort. When he had his day's work done, he went home and went to bed. That night the fairies came and beat him in bed, and when he went out in the morning the trees were back in their places in the fort.
