they went into the yard there was a pot of porridge outside the door and the people of the house were milking the cows.
An old women came out and told them they could eat the pot of porridge, so they eat the pot of porridge between them and when the cows were milked they drank all the milk they were just going to burn the house when word came from the landlord that they were not to burn any of those two houses.
The next day Nick (?) Mother went to look for him, when she arrived in Ross she asked the yeomen about her son and told her they gave him to the pigs but they were only mocking her.
She then asked one of the Devereuxs of Boley who fought with his Brother who was killed, and he said he saw him getting a stab of a bayonet and he fell in the Main Street but the woman could not find him.
