BULLAWNThere is a "Bullawn" on Laurence O'Neills farm Garryduff Campile Co Wexford. It is a lawn which contains about an acre. There is also one on Michael Kent's land Terrerath Cassagh New Ross. The one that is in Garryduff there was an old church in it about two thousand years ago. There is a big laurel growing in the centre of this and it shows exactly where the church was. There was also a graveyard in it. There is a ditch going all round it. There is a headstone on top of the ditch. There is no inscription or writing of any sort on this.
SGEAC-GEALis the name of a field in Yoletown Ballycullane Co Wexford. It derives its name from the fact that on the fences of this field are huge white-thorn bushes.
MOAT of RATHGOREYis situated near Newcastle Foulksmill Co Wexford; it is a mound of earth covered all over with brambles of all kinds. It was called the "Moat of Rathgorey" because it was built on the townsland of Rathgorey. It was used in old times for a hiding place for Irish soldiers.
FLAX MOORis a large field at Dean's of Longraigue so called from the flax been sowed and pulled and brought to a big pond in the bottom of the same field and retted there.
