   There was a school in Ballyhogue Co. Wexford about fifty years ago. It was situated at the cross of Ballyhogue.
   The teacher's name was Miss Murphy.
   The school was held in her own little house.
   She taught English, Irish, and Sums. This school was not a National school and the children did not sleep in it at night.

   There was an old school in Ballymorris, Ballyhogue, Co. Wexford, about seventy years ago. It was on the opposite side of the road from a cottage which is now inhabited by Mr Martin O'Brien, Ballymorris, Ballyhogue, Co. Wexford. The teacher's name was Mary O'Brien, who lived in an old house and had her school in it. This woman was not paid only what her pupils paid her. These
