It contains bails to which cows are tied and a manger in which the hay is put. The cow house is called a Byre. The cows are tied with chains or roaps. Some times horse shoes and blessed Palm are put in the Byre to bring good luck. The sign of the cross with a drop of milk is put on the cow after milking her. If you kill a swallow the cow is supposed to milk blood.
The place where the horse is kept is called a stable. There is a manger for the hay and it is divided into apartments called stalls.
