    The factories gathered round and begun to laugh at me,

    6. When I got home that night, sure it was very late,
    I brought the donkey out a must but the brute he would not eat.
    His mouth was full of chompers, I thought it very strange,
    And when I went to run him down, I found he had the mange.
    7. So I then went for Jack Minnock, just at break of day,
    Said Jack "We'll find that tinker he can't be far away.
    So we steered our course for Rahan till we came near Screggan Cross.
