“There is a field in Ballykilmur and it is called the grave...”
There is a field in Ballykilmur and it is called the graveyard. There are little mounds like graves in it. People say it was there that battle of Moy Leana was between Conn the Hundred Fighter and Mogh-Nuadhat. The dead of the battle were buried in the field.
Other people say that the ridges of graves in the graveyard field in Ballykilmurry were made for people who died at the time of the famine.
