The boys make tops out of a spool. They pare a spool into a spike, and they have to watch so as to have it balanced, and they stick a peg in the bottom of the top and set it a spinning.

They use a clothes peg for a gun, by putting a piece of elastic around it, and putting a piece of a match it it for the shot. They also have an immation of an "Bow-and-arrow", with a fairly thick piece of sally and tie a cord at each end, and then get a piece of straight sally, and cut a piece of card board in the shape of a triangle, and put it at the end of(leanann ar an chéad leathanach eile)
