    A.D. 1360 '' ''
A.D. 1602 Niall Garve O'Donnell, with his brothers and the English took Devinish and put warders in it.
St. Molaise was a constant friend of St Mogue of Innis-breagh-muigh. These two saints had met at St Finnian's school at Clonard. On his return journey from Rome St Molaise called to see St Mogue at Ferns and gave him relics. The reliquary containing these is called ''The Breac Mogue.''
Lines sung by students and pilgrims leaving Devinish :-
    -----------------------------------------------------------
    ''I offer Thee:
    Every flower that ever grew,
    Every bird that ever flew,
    Every wind that ever blew
    Good God.
    Every thunder rolling,
    Every church bell tolling,
