On this day in most houses it is a second Christmas Day. It is held in honour of the Three Wise Kings who visited the little Infant in the cold stable. Decorations are usually taken down and put by till the next Christmas. In some places people celebrate Christmas 'till Candlemas Day.St Brigid's Day 1st February
