Ar an leathanach seo
- (ar lean ón leathanach roimhe)and needles and other small articles like that. The beggars ask eggs and meal and money where they think they will get it. They are mostly religious people, but when anger can forget. The tinkers and peddlars are swathy chaps without any pretentions to piety if contradicted.
The tramps tinkers travel on carts and sometimes in great numbers. They make there camp beside the bog and pillage for turf. They like a good big fire for cooking and sitting around. It looks strange looking without light. The "Wards" are a noted family of tinkers and also the "Mac Ganns" tall and black and fierce looking. They have a lot of women children and dogs. They swap and sell asses. They make tin buckets and porringers not all fit to hold water. Which there lady friends peddle around gathering eggs and cabbage and bacon and making a row if they do not succeed. They come after a fair day and allow there to heal, and go away on the next fair day to new and in way travel around(leanann ar an chéad leathanach eile)- Bailitheoir
