   There were very few roads long ago. All the roads there were met at Tara. The road beside the school is called the Granard road. From Gordon's cross to Brook's is called the Tullyboy road. There is one new road in the district that I know of from Councillor's cross. From the four-half-moons to Gordon's is called Turin road. There were a lot of roads made long ago without pay. By roads were made by the people who lived on them. There is a by-way to Mt. Nugent called the postman's path
