    Kilnaleck from Crosskeys and Cavan,
    Come heroes so loyal and true.
    When old Ireland required their Assistance,
    From their colours they would never renage,
    But shoved their determined resistance
    True sons of the National league,
    Now to conclude and finish my oration.
    I intend for to leave down my pen,
    And never throughout a Nation,
    Has Ireland produced such good men.
    When Joe Bigger, Tim Healy and Sexton,
    In parliament house will be seen
    Those brave men from our own Country
    To battle for Erin the green.
