Here is a story told about Ragweed:-
Once upon a time a blindman and his son went on horseback to purchase a farm that was for sale. As the father passed through the farm he said to his son "here take my horse and tie him to a ragweed". "Alas" replied his son "I do not see a ragweed in the whole land". "Come away" said the old man "the ground that won't grow [?] ragweeds will not grow good crops.- Bailitheoir
