It is said that in the year 1888 a man named John Brown found a box of sovereigns when he was knocking down a house.

    (ar lean ón leathanach roimhe)
ran and caught him around the body then the little man gave a scream but the other man held him fast. the little man tried to make the other man look away but he would not. Then the other man asked him where he would get a crock of gold and he showed him a tree and he said under that tree the gold was hidden and when the man went home he got a spade and started to dig up the tree and when he had dug a good bit down in the ground he found a box of gold.
