The horse is out working all day and at night he is put into a stable. He eats hay, oats, bran, turnips and he drinks water. When he has no shoes, he is brought into a forge and they put shoes on him as without them he could not work.
The horses' hair is clipped with a clipping machine. Long ago there were great horses and many stories are told about them. They used to run seventy or eightly miles as there were no motor cars out then, and on that account - they had to travel far.
I do not know any stories about goats or sheep, but I know one about a pig which follows:-Long ago there was a poor sweep who had no home, every night he used to go seeking for shelter and this night he came to a gentleman's farm where he saw a pig lying in a shed.
