  1. There is a field in Clashnevin called the fort field, because there is a fort in the corner of the field.
There is also a large rock in one of the fields and it is called the "Mass Rock" because there was Mass said there in the Penal Days.
There is also a "Mass Rock" in Kilcolman, a place outside Nenagh. In that place there is a hill called "Deelys Hill" because a family by the name of "Deelys" lived there. At the ? of the hill there is still to be seen a large stone called the "Mass Rock". It is said that Mass used to be said for the neighbouring people during the Penal Days.
