  1. There lived in Coolmeen some time ago a man named Thomas Carrol. He went to America while he was there he dreamed that there was a crock of gold in his barn. Some other boys looked for the gold. Every time they looked for it they were hunted by a woman. Then Thomas Carrol came home. When he struck the rock a woman came and gave him the crock of gold. He was told that she was minding it a long time for him. Then he brought it to Dublin bank and sold it.
