Ar an leathanach seo
- We have a churn at home. It is called the long churn. It is about three feet high, and three feet wide across the bottom and about two feet across the top. It is made for the last twenty years. We do not make the butter often in the churn. My mother always makes the butter. She has to wash and scrub the churn and scald it before she makes the churn. If a stranger comes in when making the churn he has to make a "dreas" of it, so that he would not bring the butter when he would be going. The churn takes about half an hour to make.
