- There is Palm kept in houses in honour of Palm Sunday. The leaves and branches of holly and Ivy are taken into the houses.
There is straw put up on the houses on May Eve. Pieces of flannel are kept which were blessed on St. Blaize's Day. On Easter Sunday water is blessed and brought home and kept in honour of that day.
When some people go to Holy Wells, they bring home little stones or water in rememberance of that day.- Bailitheoir
