    of white or nearly white flour mixed with fine meal and wet with sour milk and baked on a griddle.
    On a Sunday they used to have a whole white cake. On special occasions they would have a potato cake they would grate on slice boiled potatoes and mix them with some white flour wet with sour milk and a little cream and baked on a griddle.
