    One night there was thunder and lightning, about twenty years ago, and there was a man going across a field and he was struck dead by the lightning. Only a few years ago a tree fell on a house occupied by Jack Mc Inerney. One of the branches hit the foot of the bed in which he was sleeping and broke it.
