The soot falls down the chimney.
The bacon gets damp in the kitchen.
When the curlew has one cry.
The swallows fly low.
The midges are busy in the evening.
The cat lies with her back to the fire.
The wind whistles through the key-hole.
The goats go for shelter in the evening, that is a sign of rain that night.
The sky is dark and gloomy.
The wind blows the dust off the road.
