- The local fairs are held in Westport and in Louisburg. There are ten fairs held in Westport, three of which are old fairs. The old fairs are the New Year's Fair, November's Fair and the 22nd of May, "The Old Fair Day".
Cattle, Sheep and Horses are sold on new Year's Day. Cattle and Sheep are sold on the 22nd of May.
