    The black bird has blue eggs with spots. The Trush has a blue egg. The Grouse, the Snipe and the Feadóg builds there neasts out of heather and sedge. The Grouse lays a red egg.The Feadóg layes a grew egg The Snipe has a brown egg.
    The Robin
    How the Robin got his red breast was when Our Lord was dying on the cross a drop of His blood fell on the robin's brest and his brest is red ever since that day.
