When the little ones come out they are very small but when they are about three weeks old they are as strong as that they can fly off. Their father and mother have a busy time searching for food for them. They have a hard time teaching them how to fly. It is very easy to catch them with a crib in the snow. She eats snails and worms and flies and all sorts of insects.
