- (ar lean ón leathanach roimhe)in some meadow or in some corn-field. The robin's nest is usually in a hole in a ditch. The thrushes in a hedge - a beautiful nest not quite as large as the blackbird's that also builds its nest in a hedge but higher up and not so easily reached as that of the thrush. The sparrow is another bird that likes company. It's nest is in an ivy tree near the dwelling house or if the ivy covers the walls of the houses, its nest is often found there. I think the linnets nest is the nicest of all and the best made. It is shaped like a cup and it is usually built rather high in a hedge. Then we have the wrens nest which is completely different(leanann ar an chéad leathanach eile)
