    For whooping - cough - if you meet a man on a white horse ask him for a cure. Whatever he Tells you, do it.
    A man called here to the school some ten years ago to inform me his children had whooping cough. He told me he was then on his way to get the dung of a ferret. He would boil this in milk and give it to the children.
    For Yellow Jaundice - Boil green broom and garlic together. Get a naggin of gin and mix it with a quar of the juice of green broom and garlic.
