  1. In this parish there are a number of monuments and headstones.
    Near the old cemetery in Bekan there is a field and in this field St. Beacain is supposed to be buried.
    Over his grave there is a big heap of stones, and on top of them there is a small stone cross, but there is no writing or anything to certify that it is his resting place.
    In Carrowkeel there is a large flag up on a stone wall
