  1. The name of my townland is Cullintra and there are fifteen families in it and there are about seventy eight people living it it. The family name of Lyons is the most common name. There are six slated houses and nine thatched houses in it.
    This is the way my townland got its name. There is a big lake in it and a little wood near it and it got the name of Culllintra which means wood of the strand.
