  1. Long ago there lived a poor man in the village of Kilbeg who could neither read nor write.
    One night he dreamt there was a pot of gold under a tree in his land, so he went and dug round the tree and sure enough he dug up a little pot nearly full of gold.
    He took out the gold and left the pot in the kitchen.
