  1. Long ago the people used large bags of oatmeal to test the strength of men.
    One sunday there were twenty one hundred packed into three bags seven hundred in each bag and they were left outside a public house. It was Thomas C?urry that kept the public house at that time. When the people came out from mass they all tried carry in the bags and all failed but Alick Mac Donell and the carried in the three bags. He was a wonderful man
