  1. In the year eighteen hundred and ninty eight there was a big storm. This storm lasted one whole day. It was the cause of great damage in district. There were signs of this storm before it happened.
    During this storm roofs of several houses were blown away windows and doors were blown in, stacks of oats and hay were blown miles away. The big storm also broke in shop windows and did more damage.
