  1. The old people speak of plants used to cure certain ailments or diseases. They say that foxs-crubs would cure a pain in the back. They also say that chicken weed would cure a sore troat. It is said that there is a certain plant called "healer." It would cure a pain in the back. It grows in soft places. It is very hard found. In winter it cannot be found. It dies away and in Spring it grows up green.
