    but they never bathe in it.
    There are relics usually left behind at the well by the people who come to pray at it such as to tie a bit of a string to the tree which is very near growing out of the well.
    The offering which is usually made at the well is money which is thrown into a hole in the side of the well but food is never made as an offering to it. There is no fish in the well at all. Anyone never tried to drain or pollute the well or to use it for household purposes.Tthere is a tree at the back of the well.
    The Saint mentioned in connection with the well which is in Cloonmore is Saint Michael and it is said that he appeared at the well on the twenty fifth of August in the year eight hundred and twenty and that he
