    is Durcan. There is one man getting the Irish Republican Army pension. Four are getting old age pensions while three get the Widow's Pension Nine get the "dole" In all ten houses are getting Goverement money. All old age pensioners can speak Irish.
    Ruins - In Kilgarvin there are the ruins of a jail and church
    Remarkable Things - In my townland there is a graveyard part of which is seven to eight hundred years old. Not very far away is a place where people used to be hung a hundred years ago. There is also a holy well in Kilgarvin
    Rivers - There are two rivers int he townland. One of them is called Keirgean's river. it is the border part of the way between Kilgarvin and Carrowreagh and
