    The Story
    In my mothers young days the couples who were getting married used not have motor cars as the people have now.
    My mother herself walked to the chapel when she was getting married but her sister had a drag of side cars when she was getting married, and they drove up as far as Crossmolina.
    The women used not dress the same in those days as they dress now. First they had a big cloak tied at the neck with a velvet ribbon and no sleeves, much the same as the postmen's capes. Then over that they wore another smaller cloak; a three quarter
