  1. Long ago people were very superstitious. You will very often fined people even up to this day giving in to these things.
    I If they see one magpie in the morning
    they are going to have bad-luck for that
    day.
    II If they meet a red-haired woman on the
    road they are sure to have bad luck.
    III If you throw out water New Year's Day
    you will have bad luck for the coming
    year. If you get money that day you will
    be getting plenty of money for the coming
    year.
    IV The first person you see or comes into
    your house New Years Morning, if a
    woman of course bad-luck, if a man
