  1. There is a place called "Carra" in the field of Patrick Hynes, Banagher, Carrowmore, Lacken. Where they found a urn or crock which contained the ashes of some great cheif buried deep under a flag in the ground, but they had to replace it back in the same position again, because the man that turned the flag got ill, and they were afraid he would die. The man who turned the flag is still alive. His name is John Loughney, The Quay, Ballina.
