    Once upon a time there lived a man named Gobniu in Ireland.

He had to go with her as she grazed over the green fields of Ireland. One morning as he stood outside his forge, a young soldier came up to him and saluted him. He said he had to follow his cow from morning till night, for if he took his eye off her for one moment she would follow her halter to Balor. The soldier said they could help one another.
