    Once upon a time, a man had three sons, and he was just as fond of one as he was of the other.

    the lady away on the boat and went off as quickly as they could. When they were out about a quarter of a mile, they looked behind them and they saw the monster coming after them as quickly as he could in the air. They called the boy with the crack shot and told him to fire at the monster; he did as he was told and down he fell through the bottom of the boat. Then the joiner got to work, and fixed the boat up again in a few minutes, and saved all their lives, and brought the young lady home safely to their father. The three boys did their duties, and the poor old father still puzzled and he could not tell which one was the most entitled to the place.
