  1. There are four forges in my parish. The names of the smiths are Robert Marsh, John Cawley, Patrick Joseph Mac Na Mara and Thomas Murphy.
    Robert Marsh and John Cawley are young smiths.
    There are three forges situated in the town of Crossmolina, and then there is one forge situated in the country. Robert Marsh's forge is situated in Ennis street, Crossmolina. John Cawley's forge is situated in Church Street, Crossmolina. Patrick Joseph Mac Na Mara's forge is situated in Ballina Street, Crossmolina. Thomas Murphy's forge is situated in Rakestreet, Castlehill, Ballina.
