    Somebody stole this dish about three years ago and it was sold in London. Some people say that St Teirnan was either a grand son or a great grand son of King Awley. He was also a second cousin of St Cuimín. When he built the monastery he went in and rested and prayed there. The 8th of April and the 6th of August are celebrated in honour of St Teirnan. When he died he was buried in the Abbey with a lot of Bishops and priests’
